    Why aren't replication trials run around the world?

    I'm sure there are loads of reasons, but as a community it might be something we should be asking locally.

      So far, the data gathered is from a Phase 2 study with 11 people in it (published a year ago last June).

      I doubt replication is discussed until they get a larger patient group completed and data collected to see what can be expected.

        if the US had a treatment for spinal cord injuries but said that it's only available to US citizens, I could just imagine the outcry... sPAiN iS SO EviL

        Not saying that spain shouldnt be able to do that I am just noticing the double standard that America would be held to and what people of the world would say if the roles were reversed

              Yep, where are the SJW when you actually need them? )
              But really this doesn’t make sense at all, not fair. At least they could do is share the procedures with clinics around the world. That would move things 100x faster
