    Moving out of the lab

This article written by a dr in Canada echoes the message and frustration heard at the W2W conference this week. All the work with rats has been done and the outcomes are great. How do we move out of the lab? I think the answer is to build that relationship with FDA (just as the AIDS, Cancer, Parkinsons patients have done) and talk to our legislators. We need to support the Regenerative Medicine Act building a national strategy in order to keep moving forward.

I think that the testimonies here from people who have been to Portugal, China, and India for treatments is enough to understand why it's so hard to move from bench to bedside. You can do all the exercise in the world and only improve yourself. But surgery is literally a one-stop-shop. You won't get a second chance.
