I understand your needing to find sometype of treatment. In the meantime, until something does come along, I trust you are working your butt off toget as strong and healthy as you can. Stemcells won't do you any good if you are not in shape for them.

Your injury is still very very new, a lot can still return so work hard towards that goal. I know people personally that have gotten return years later. It probably wasn't so much the cord regenerating itself as it was their hard work made those muscles to weak to function finally starts functioning.

I'm sure others will give their impression of the Arizona Center, but I don't think there is anything going on in the US that has any value when it comes to sci and stemcells.

Good luck, this will get better I can assure you.

As far as I know, there are no legitimate stem cell therapies being offered in Arizona at this time. I am moving this thread to the Cure forum, where you will get more attention to this topic.

Just a note, from the website you listed:
      • Disclaimer: Even though our Treatments are done using Autologous Cells, our Stem Cell Therapies are not approved by the FDA. Stem Cell Treatments are not a cure for any condition, disease or injury, nor a substitute for proper medical diagnosis and care. The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

I don't believe there are any legitimate stem cell therapies being offered anywhere for SCI. They don't currently exist, imo.

I wouldn't let "Dr" Timothy Peace, NMD touch me-

          From their website-
Naturopathic Physicians are Licensed Primary Care Providers with Precription Rights (prescribing up to DEA Class II narcotics), who are specialists in holistic diagnosis and natural therapeutics. Physicians are trained to seek out the least invasive intervention required to effect a cure. Often possible with diet counseling and lifestyle modification, and can requires the use of medication, physical therapeutics, or minor surgery. Naturopathic Doctors always look for the underlying cause of the illness and do not just focus on the most apparent symptoms. Naturopathic Physicians can refer to specialists as needed, either within the profession or to allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO)colleagues.

Don't burn your money/health like that, don't do it.
Don't ask what clinical trials can do for you, ask what you can do for clinical trials.

We would all advise great caution on this.

As you have seen on our website, we offer autologous Stem Cell Harvesting and Treatment for injuries and conditions of all kinds. Our physicians do see patients forSpinal Cord Injurieshttp://www.stem-cell-center.com/comp...pinalcord.html(click link for recent studies with stem cells) and treat them with a variety of therapies. As each person is an unique individual, each person will respond differently and there are no guarantees, nor do we wish to provide false hopes. We do these stem cell procedures as the practice of medicine and not as an FDA approved treatment. Thus, we do not make medical claims....

Again, we cannot say whether this particular stem cell treatment will help you or not. What we can do is provide the autologous stem cell therapy. Our physicians care about their patients, listen to them, and take the time and effort involved to work with their patients to achieve the best results. The exact treatment would be determined by yourself and the attending physician during the consultation - keeping history, past treatments, and current conditions in mind. On the Consultation day, the physician can and will further explain how the autologous stem cell treatment fits into this therapy, along with key nutrients given orally, parentally, andintramuscularly.

The Treatment is divided into 2-days:
                          • First day: Initial Interview and Consultation (an interview, physical, standard history) which lasts from 1-hour to 1 1/2 hours.

                          • Second day: Takes about 3-5 hours and includes an intravenous supply of antioxidants and/or preparatory IV drip, and the harvested stem cells from adipose tissue. These autologous, less than minimally-manipulated stem cells are then concentrated and re-injected into one or more areas (including either Systemically - Intravenous, Intramuscular,Intranasal - especially localized for brain damage andquick access to the brain while avoiding the BBB; Locally at the site of the problem, or via Intraperitoneal administration). If needed, the doctor will adjust the preparatory cocktail to allow the opening of the BBB, allowing the passage of substances through this barrier to infuse the brain and spinal cord.

You would most likely leave the clinic with a custom-compounded formula that the physician may deem is needed. The physician will also talk to you about your condition and any other treatments or intermittent treatments they have had success with, or that you may need in the future. Our treatments are performed in the USA, a main difference between our therapies andthat of others......we also address the condition presented with everything in our medical arsenal: whether it be with Conventional Pharmaceuticals, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Therapies (Oral, IM and IV), or a mixture of all, we are here to tryand help the patient get better.
Any additional treatments, or other therapies/products the physician provides during the Stem Cell Treatment day, would be included in the Consultation/Treatment Fee. Emergency therapies and some other procedures do incur a higher fee....

Treatment sessions would depend on your progress and what results you would like to see; hopefully only once, with intermittent treatments, formulas, and progress provided andmonitored by your local practitioner.

We apologize, but we do not disclose past patient information, contacts, treatments, nor results. What we would like to see is that you are satisfied with one treatment and don't have to return.
