    That's the right attitude

working now or it did for me, i was ready to call them.

I got to hear Kent speak in NY, I believe he is the first cure gimp, since 1974

he traveled to Russia years ago for experimental treatment

From Doug English, president of the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation:

"My friend Kent Waldrep was injured and paralyzed in 1974, and has been working ever since to find a cure for paralysis. I've been committed to helping Kent since 1988. A dedicated team of people here in Austin helped create the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation in 2000, and we're busy raising awareness and money for our cause: to find a CURE for paralysis.

Kent and I have a date to play golf — as soon as he's able. I'll keep practicing until then."

I'm looking for activities in the Austin area. I've been to this site, and I can't figure out where they are or how to meet up with them. Does anyone know another contact site for them?

Or for any wheelchair activities in Austin?

Brooke, probably the most efficient way is to come to the Open House in Austin this coming Saturday. I don't know how many people will be coming but over 100 have signed up already and there may be more. This is the best way to meet people and get into groups, if any are available, face-to-face.

              Wise.
