  • Vista frustration

I recently switched from Windows 98
& am using Vista. Plus I switched from one of the first versions
of Dragon Dictate to Dragon Dictate Naturally 9 . 5.
I was wondering if anyone else was having difficulty
with Dragon working well together using Vista.
Someone had mentioned that Dragon would perform upgrades itself while working with Vista. Does anyone have any feedback? I appreciate any
    help.

Can you tell us if this is Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.5 Preferred, Professional or Standard? Which version of Windows Vista are you using e.g. Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate? Is this a new laptop or desktop and how much of RAM or memory is on this machine?

My desktop has a Pentium 4, 3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, Windows XP SP2, Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.5 Pro. My laptop, Core Duo, 1 GB of RAM, Windows XP SP2, DNS 9.5 Pro.

"Dragon would perform upgrades itself while working with Vista".

To my knowledge this is not true.
You must go to DNS website and download the 9.5 version
after you've installed the 9.0. It does not have any automatic
      update function.
