ok first off i have a flip phone. i do not want a smart phone. nor do ii want a tablet. i have a pc that can not upgrade 2 windows 11. however for work its great. i do not understand how it works. i bout a irobot iRobot® Roomba Combo™ j7+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum & Mop - Automatically vacuums and mops without needing to avoid carpets, Identifies & Avoids Obstacles, Smart Mapping, Alexa, Ideal for Pet

however u need alexa which i thought download pc nope. i am so confused on this i have read but that confuses me more.. justin said get a echo it would work alexa that inturn run my robot but can not explain how or which 1

love roombas we are on our 3rd. we have the j7+ too. you really need the smart phone app though. ours is set up with alexa as well. i think its time for an iphone.

I finally found someone like me. I have a flip phone and do not want to be pressured into getting a smart phone that I will not use. I have a Alexa Fire Cube to use with my television and that is downloaded and functional via my computer.

I have Windows 10 and use my computer with Dragon 100% hands-free.

If I were you, I would look into getting a cheap old android or iphone (you could probably find someone giving one away), and just use it to program the irobot. Have it as a backup "computer" that sits powered off in your drawer except when you need to use it. No need to add a cell phone plan to make it work.

i just had my son do it a i can use the vacuum with out it but the mopping feature needs the app
