What is the best microphone for version 15 professional? I have been using a Logitech desktop about 18" from my mouth for years and everything had been working fine. Recently, the performance is horrendous, it's always crashing incessantly. Tech support has been unable to resolve it. I keep getting messages that my microphone performance is poor.
Shall I get a new mic? I'm thinking about a combo mic/ear piece but would rather mic have not have to wear anything?

I suggest a microphone from https://www.knowbrainer.com/ they are the NaturallySpeaking gurus I would say. You don't have to buy the microphones directly through them, just get the brand and Google it. I am using Addasound Crystal SR2831 USB Wired Monaural Noise-canceling Headset
As the years have gone on, NaturallySpeaking has seen to have gotten worse. I had the original DragonDictate back in 97 and it was a lot better than today. With the exception of the ability to open programs. I think.
