  • Mounting a tablet to the chair

Does anyone keep a tablet mounted on your chair? I?m curious:

= where do you have it mounted?
= Can it be repositioned, and how do you do it if you don?t use your hands?
= Where do you have it mounted where you can see it but it is not in the way?

Permobil 3G seat; 3 basic parts, 1- arm rest bracket, 2- tube for tablet holder assy, 3- tablet holder assy with many adjustable joints.
Mounts just like joystick but on opposite armrest.
    (1) A bracket (same as joystick bracket) bolts UNDER side of arm rest.
    (2) A special tube inserts into bracket previously mounted under arm rest.
    (3) The tablet holder mounts to tube. Holder is adjustable in many ways. Can be removed from tube with a little effort but easy for AB. I think it will also hold a smart phone.
I'm busy for the next few days but as soon as I can, I'll put my hands on it and post a photo. >PM remind me.<
May fit other version Corpus or chair brands if a compatible bracket (arm rest/joystick bracket) is available.

RAM mount with flexible arm under armrest which fits to adjustable ball system, you can get different tablet/phone holders. Flexible arm is useful for repositioning depending upon phone or tablet. I've got R Net wheelchair control system with the idevice bluetooth control so can use my joystick and switch control to use phone or tablet. https://www.rammount.com/product-lines

I'm c3 complete with no hand use and it works OK.

Phone mount photos, I just swap holder for the ipad version

I saw this the other day looking for something to hold my shopping basket up off my legs. A bit expensive .
The Scotty Kristen Wheelchair Tray uses a center-mount pedestal tray design that fits under the wheelchair seat cushion.

I worked with the Joy Factory in OC years ago to come up with a simple magnetic mount for iPad it works great.

Can connect to various tubes on a wheelchair or power chair.
            Re-positions easy.
iPad has a pretty good voice options and always improving.

              Having a similar issue myself.

I'm currently using a Permobil M5 Corpus and I'm looking for a mount and location to use an iPad Pro 2018 12.9. The immediate issue is where a mount could even be attached to one of these chairs? The seat base maybe?

              Here's the Permobil M5 Corpus:

              https://permobilus.com/product/m5-corpus/

For mounts I'm looking at something like this:

              https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0743 ... JEE6&psc=1

I know about RAM mounts, and will look to them if necessary, but I was hoping for something that I could easily switch between chair and bed thenever necessary.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
