Right click the start menu at the bottom left on your desktop. Choose the run option and type “netplwiz” without the quotes then click ok. In the pop-up box uncheck where it says “users must enter a name and password to use this computer.” Then reboot your computer.

Go back to Windows 7 if you still want to run MicroSoft

We tried Windows 10 on few crash test dummies and it was (literally) thrown back at us. The test case was Excel on Windows 10. Windows 10 is bit alpha so Chrome has a ways to go, but if Chrome runs properly then you can use drive, gmail, sheets, docs, etc.

I still have a VM with Windows 7 on it because I have a morbid fascination with MicroSoft. I always roll back after each use unless I run a session just to make changes. One change is keeping Chrome on it up to date.

If you run Windows on real hardware then MicoSoft viruses are part of the design and you have to learn to live with them.

Our corporate SOE is frozen on Windows 7 Enterprise for now. Dropping hints about Google offering as "OS" or OS does not matter if you can get Chrome to run.

Chrome book, etc. will do even better than PeeCee with Chrome.
