Bell Fibe uses fiber optics some of the distance, but it still relies on copper wire (broadbandreports) that travels on phone poles the rest of the way and then into your home. Seems like they're playing word games. I would stay put.Originally posted by lynnifer View Post

Having that slow of an upload is a killer when it comes to gaming but if you don't game I'm not sure if you would notice that much as long as your not uploading a lot of pictures or other data. Earthlink is a horrible ISP (i use to have them in PA), if you have the choice I would change you would probably get a much better internet connection speed for a reasonable price. But then again I remember when I lived in NC they only offered roadrunner which also isn't that great.Injured:10-16-04
