There are a few sites that I find very useful when surfing the web, and I was wondering what sites you find useful? Here's a couple [literally] to begin with:

Dictionary.com - Look up definitions for any word
Quotations at Bartleby.com - A searchable listing of 87,000 familiar and famous quotes

Slashdot- news for nerds
Internet Movie Database- for all those obscure movie questions

I have been giving this some consideration and I will consider my reply a work in progress.

Because I have cable Internet I enjoy watching video clips that I think are informative, so I have selected Court TV as my first choice.

This may be a good resource for someone who may need legal documents and not much help from an attorney. Today, I was listening to Jeff Levy on AM 640 in Los Angeles and he endorses LegalZoom and this was not a commercial plug nor is he affiliated with this site.

IrfanView is free, fast, and will open just about any image file you're likely to come across. It also allows you to manipulate images, changing size or color depth, for example, you can set it up to play slide shows of your favorite pictures.
