  • Possible Travel to Florida - Need Local Caregiver Support (Light)

I may need to travel to the Orlando, FLA area later this year for work and I'm interested in connecting with an agency that can provide someone for maybe an hour or so every morning just to help me get started. No Bowel program involved here. Just things like maybe helping me around the shower to make sure I don't fall and speeding things up so I can get dressed and quickly get on the road. I'm a C7 level injury.

I seem to recall someone in the forum mentioning an online agency that helps people travelling in situations like this, but I can't seem to find the discussion thread. Any clues to the thread would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I found a couple threads with a similar question about short term caregivers in Orlando, but none of those threads had any concrete suggestions about individual agencies.

Try an internet search for "caregiver agencies Orlando, FL," and try to find top rated companies, then call or email several of them with your needs and request. Possibly a Center for Independent Living would have some ideas or suggestions.

Ah - the center for independent living. Nice suggestion. I'll try giving them a call during their office hours. Thank you!
