Ever heard of cath assist tool-sci nurse?

A fellow SCI friend mentioned a tool ? they were shown in rehab that will assist with an intermittent catheter insertion for someone with very limited hand movement...is there really such a thing?

    Where do you get it?
    What is it called?

i have done several searches and can't find anything.

    Thanks

Discussed recently on the Equipment forum. We use these sometimes, although many people learn eventually to cath without it, by either holding the catheter in two hands (males only) or twinning the catheter between your fingers.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
