    Bowel Management

    I'm a c3/c4 incomplete tetraplegic.

After years of lose stools, no control, and diapers, I'm having fairly solid stool.

Digital stimulation deosn't work, but an enema every other day does the job. Any reason to stop using enemas?

    Hi,

Bowel programs are many and varied in the SCI population.

If you've tried other things that have not worked and have found something that does, I'd stick with it.

While an enema is usually not the first choice, some people find them the most helpful.

Best would be something like enemeez (mini-enema), which is small and more comfortable all around.
