bowel accident question

Dougi- I do think that you have answered your own question by the description of your previous episode. Both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages act as diuretics on the body as well as load the system with simple sugars. Try some lemon or lime in your water or add a small amount of Sprite to cranberry juice for refreshing drinks as alternates to the beverages that your body does not want to tolerate. CRF

Yup, beer gets to me too. Sucks big time. But I can still drink wine or hard liquor with no problems. Go figure... Umm, in moderation, of course.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Thanks for the hint Sue. Maybe I'll give wine a try. I could sure use a sip right about now

Thank you too SCI Nurse. I was "afraid" that was the cause. I'm better now

Cheers,
