    Broken ulna

I broke my ulna. My surgery is Wednesday. Clean cut.
My question is this. Will I still have full use of my hand?

Initially you may have some limitations, especially in lifting or holding something that has much weight, but most likely your current function will remain in the long term. Best to get some OT sessions once you allowed to do so by your surgeon.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
