"Things to Know About Aging and Spinal Cord Injury"

You can find both English and Spanish versions of the new consumer fact sheet from the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center. This resource explains some of the changes in your body as you get older after a SCI/D. It also lists ways to care for your health with a SCI/D as you age.

    (KLD)
The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
