    MICROCYN, after you get stones removed, NEVER vinegar nor bleach, bleach is dangerous, vinegar feeds various 'critters' you get in your bladder, stop eating sugar, it weakens your immune system, primarily rendering your white blood cells ineffective at 'devouring invaders'. I 'revived the vet/microcyn thread because I am seeing hundreds of posts about utis/clogged catheters/ leaking, etc all over FB
    EVERYONE needs to see the thread and study it to learn effective combat technique against these problems

      nurse your correct sory I am so dam bad about writing yes I started yesterday taking bp as I have not in years I really don/t know what normal is for me anymore it like I said I see cardi and rep for pacemaker Friday hopefully they ok me for stone removal as this is horrid


      I use bleach didluted too clean and vigear to irrage never irrigated till this month in 18 years and not doing it today cath is clear nothing in it I reckon the longer you in this gig and older u get more thing happen

      I don/t eat but very little sugar I think I eat healthy never sick no uti in years life is as good as it gets

        It is not difficult to make your own saline solution for irrigating, and that is probably more effective than vinegar. There is an old research paper done with a small number of catheter users than compared irrigating with Puracel (similar to Microcyn). The sample group consisted of people with chronic UTI problems. Saline worked at least as well as Puracel.

            thank will do Friday cardio dr then hopefully thurs get these stones out learned lesson go 1 time a year got to get reulat table salt all I have is idione salt

                    Great to hear that you are doing well. Prevention is the better way but there is no guarantee that all the preventative methods will work.

                      well this am I plugged up notice lot white stuff in cathe as getting ready for bath actually have had since stones out . we change cathe feeling frustrated

                          I try 1 a month but they changed when stones taken out 2 weeks ago and it plugged yesterday feeling very frustrated
