Your Rights to Accessible Health Care (USA)

Here is a good article about this from the University of Alabama Spain Rehab Center Pushin' On newsletter, (Vol. 34(1), page 2-3).

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

Here is a screen shot of the article. The publication is Pushin' On from the University of Alabama Spinal Cord Injury Model System, Volume 34, Number 1, 2016.

Page one is on top, page 2 on the bottom.

    Hope this helps.

      Thank you gjnl.
I was having difficulty accessing the pages. I'm interested in getting on their mailing list (U of Alabama sci newsletter); noted website www.uab.edu/sci.
