    is this procedure safe to do awake in an office setting for quads??

    I had it done several times but always at a rehab hospital.

            Urodynamics I would say yes. Any surgical procedure in the bladder I would say no.

            Just make sure they monitor your blood pressure regularly throughout the filling, voiding, and post voiding winding down phases.

            Most non-SCI uro docs may not do it at all, or only rarely. Important to note the maximum as well as the duration at elevated levels.

                I've had it done twice in the 5 years I've had my SP both times in the docs office. No blood pressure check before, during or after and haven't been in for a checkup in close to 2 years.. He did say everything seemed to be working fine so guess that's a plus..

                  Critical that your blood pressure be checked during the procedure, as this can cause serious AD.
