    Bladder pain

I just went to the doctor yesterday for a checkup and everything was clear in my urine. He didn't order a D&S since I wasn't having any pain or symptoms and the dip test didn't show protein or blood or anything in my urine. But my bladder has started hurting since last night. I'll just continue to load up on water to flush out whatever is in me. And why is it that when you pass gas, you feel pain in your urethra? I had a bladder augmentation and have almost always experienced that and thought it was strange.

The reason that you feel in your bladder when you have bowel issues is that the the two organs run on the same nerve pathway.

That makes perfect sense. I also experience bladder pain many times when I feel like I need to have a BM, so that makes sense. Thanks for explaining it.
