Does Caffeine really make that big of a difference?

I had two large diet cokes at the baseball game and I feel like my urethra is on fire. Does caffeine really cause this much pain and the desire to go more often? On the opposite is there anything you could drink that would calm the bladder down.

Yes, caffeine is diuretic, so it will make you eliminate more liquid. It also speeds up the CNS.

I always found that water works well in "calming" down the bladder...
And yes, caffeine, especially if you are not used to it can have that effect.
