  • 'Latest topics' / 'Latest activity', What's the difference?

When I come to the site , I'm not sure I fully understand the difference between the results I am viewing using , " latest topics" and 'latest activity ". They seem similar but I think i am missing some content/posts / replies.

Seems simple but I am not quite getting it... When I go to individual forums I can see I am missing some posts & replies, so I seem to be doing something wrong or at least not understanding the difference between each.

Would appreciate it if anyone could shed a little light on the difference between the two functions.
    Thanks in advance, ches

I agree with you. When I go to the Forums there are always posts I've missed.
I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

I always just check for new posts in the last 24 hours using this search string that someone posted one time:

      /vb5/search?r=2230541&p=1

It is not perfect, and not nearly as nice as the old "New Posts" function, but it works for me.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.
