Planning out my next few months with regard to a local Art House type theater
(they schedule films 2 months at a time - with sometimes only one time slot to see a specific film).
And in a different thread Juke brought up Director Francios Truffaut....
One of his films is coming up soon.
So I thought rather than derail a thread -
maybe start one where anyone can ask if they should see something specific (opportunity presenting itself locally to said person)
So...
Should I go see "The 400 Blows" by Francois Truffaut?
(1959)
The write up is as follows:
One of the key works of the French New Wave. Francois Truffaut's fluid, funny and poignant, semi-autobiographical film follows a rebellious 12-year-old troublemaker at home, at school, at play, at reform school, and beyond. Always listed among the 100 best films ever made. (subtitles)
Was going to pass over it when I noticed Truffaut's name -
so Juke or anyone else - is it what it's cracked up to be?
