So now we can talk about it. I love the chemistry between Arya and Gendry. And what a BRUTAL take-down of Tyrion by Cersei. I also liked the Grejoy family reunion.

Tyrion seems to be the only reasonable Lannister. The rest of them are power crazed warmongers.

The young Greyjoy reminds me of a young Mick Jagger. I had a giggle when he told the girl to not smile.

Loving the series 2 spoilers

I've read the books and have just finished watching season one on dvd (my OH refuses to get Sky), I loved season one and thought it was as good if not better than the books.

It's also one of the few series based on books that keeps true to the novels it is based upon.

I preferred how the series shows all the sub plots in as they happen as they are split by character in the books.

I wished the Dire wolves had a bigger part in the series and that Jaime Lannister was as hot & blonde as I imagined him to be from the books descriptions.

Argh, I can't wait until series 2 is realised on dvd!

I am really enjoying the series, however it should be called GAME OF INCEST. There are at least 4 different incest themes going on ?!?!?!?!?

1) King Jeoffry the offspring of incest
2) The guy in the Far North who sleeps with all his daughters and kills all the male offspring
3) THe prince guy who felt up his sister on horseback
4) The mother and son bizzare suckling dynamic in the sky castle in season 1

3 and 4 weren't really incest persay, but the guy in the North is seriously screwed up. Theon does look like Mick Jagger! I read the book while waiting for last night's episode and I found Theon's storyline to be the most tragic. Talk about a clusterf**k.

My cousin was either on last night's or next Sunday's episode as an extra for the Arya scenes.

I have to watch the show 2 or more times to get the plot. For example, I was wondering who was the Princess that was to be married off. Finally figured out it was the Queen's only daughter. Peter Dinklige (sp?) is awesome as the hand.

I thought it interesting for Tyrion to set the stage with a similar story to marry the daughter to some other house, just changing the potential groom. It was a good way to find out who was sharing 'secrets'.
