Music - Breaking from the Traditional

I thought that with all the CC users around the world there must be those of us that come across music that one would never think of putting together. But for some reason it works.
I am a great lover of classical music and have played the piano for 50 of my 55 years. Beethoven’s 5th is one of my favourite pieces. I also appreciate and enjoy lots of other types of music such as Salsa but I would have never thought of combining these two.

Hopefully there are lots of other examples of music that has been performed or combined with other music or anything else – breaking from the traditional.

OK... that's very cool! I've been playing the recorder for 30 years now - minus the 4 months post-surgery when my hand was too weak to hold the instrument.

This is not a blend, but an equally amazing piece - Unsquare Dance by Dave Brubec written in 7/8. One of my all time favs.

Now this is just downright silly. Funny but silly.
