gran torino was pretty good, for a Clint Eastwood movie- I normally sleep through his films. In the past week I saw Eagle Eye and Role Models on bootleg and they were allright. Eagle Eye was just about what I expected, and Paul Rudd was the best part of RM, as he's just about the best part of every movie he's in.

Last movies seen:
Let Sleeping Dogs - Hmmmm ... conflicted for reasons obvious within the first five minutes; a flick all about conflict, both internal and external as well as truth and just where the line is and isn't for telling the absolute truth to those to whom we are closest;
Blame It on Fidel - French language movie w/English subtitles; absolutely, totally worth viewing;
Good Morning Heartache - Italian language movie w/English subtitles; totally worth viewing;
Hard Candy - Bring your brass balls; movie about a child sexual pedator and not what you'd expect; worth it.
I've seen a few others recently, but think I've written enough.
The End.

Seven Pounds ... Will Smith. Definitely worth seeing.
Gran Torino ... I normally hate Clint Eastwood for his past history with people in wheelchairs ... but I did enjoy this movie. Except for the end when he sang a song during the closing credits. He should stick to directing and acting ... brutal.
Blindness ... Mark Ruffalo/Julianne Moore ... nothing spectacular. Save it for dvd rental.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button .. loved it. Surprised it was passed over at the Golden Globe awards.
Have Revolutionary Road and Defiance to watch yet.Last edited by lynnifer; 13 Jan 2009, 9:18 AM.Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.
