Anyone find any true free download sites? I Googled ''free ringtones'' and quite a few came up but after creating a login and password they wanted a credit card for their $1.99/month...
Life isn't like a bowl of cherries or peaches. It's more like a jar of jalapenos--What you do today might burn your ass tomorrow.
Here is a place I found that you can create your own ring tones from your own music and either send them over the air or through the data cable for your phone. Only problem I had is that over the air I could not get them to be very long in length but was able to produce longer ring tones using the data cable. I use Verizon and it was tricky to figure out but I finally got it working. Hopefully if you fool with it long enough you can get it to work for you using your own music.
Oh and you can customize it using the part of the songs you actually like instead of the standard versions.
Jeff, for starters, I hate all of those obnoxious music ringtones. Since I spend a lot of the time in the woods, I use wildlife ringtones, mostly birds. If my phone rings in the woods, it won't startle anything since they're used to hearing it. Also I'll be sitting in a bar, suddenly a cardinal will start chirping, people start looking around, never imaging it's a phone call. OK, call me weird.

DO any of these work for verizon? I tried the one website where you can create your own but it says you can't send these ring tones to Verizon Customers, F THAT.
