For Sale: Quickie Shark S Handcycle

I haven't been using it and it's in the way. Plus I don't have a van anymore to take it out to the bike trail. It's a great bike. I've topped out at 30mph going down a steep hill. Had to brake because I was too scared to go faster. lol Also one of the rubber wire thingies for the computer broke so the computer isn't set up but I'm sure you could take it to a bike shop to get it repaired. It's a great work out. I"ve gone 15 miles in it once. I've probably rode it a total of 6 times. Let me know if you're interested and we'll work out the details. I'm asking $1500.

Bike is still for sale. Had a buyer but they changed they're mind at the last minute because he was worried about shipping. The bike was sent to me unpackaged and he was worried about that. I can understand being worried about it because I shipped a computer one time and when the person got it it looked like someone had used the computer as a football. Since the bike is being sold for cheap you can spend the extra money to insure it for $3000. Insurance costs
$7.45 plus $0.95 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value. So if the bike comes to you in pieces. UPS will give you $3000.

I'm willing to work with anyone on how it should be shipped. I'll take it apart if I have to.

I'm also up for possible exchange for an old standing frame or some other type of excercise equipment that would interest me. We will renegotiate the price of the bike. RIght now I'm interested in a standing frame that has a desk. Let me know by pm and we'll discuss price changes. I guess this would be for local pickups only unless somebody doesn't mind shipping.

If the cycle is still available could you let me know how many gears it has and is it likely that a woman with short arms can reach the crank in the fully reclined position.
