If you are also interested in a physician who has an additional board certification in Spinal Cord Medicine, you can do a search here by specific physician name (you cannot get a list unfortunately). Need an SCI neurologist

I need a neurologist who specializes in SCI in the Silver Spring MD or Washington DC area. The site you listed requires a name and I don't have one.

Use this site to search by location for a physiatrist (not neurologists). You have to click on "search by map" to search by location. Why do you need a neurologist? Can't your primary care physician refer you?

For this site, you can search for physicians (of all specialties) who are certified in SCI Medicine, but you do have to register to do this search. You can search only by location (state for example) if you so desire (read the directions).

There are already physiatrists in the UK, and much of the rest of the world as well, but they are rarely members of the AMERICAN Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation unless they did their training in the USA. There are a significantly smaller number of physiatrists per population in England though than in the USA or even other parts of Europe.
