    need suggestions

I love to read and I've ran out of books. I prefer series but I'll read most books. I love mysteries, fantasy, thrillers, and true crime. My favorite authors have been, Gorge RR Martin, Ann Rule, James Patterson and Stephine Myers.
If you haven't heard Of Gorge R.R Martin you MUST go get the series A Song of Ice and Fire .... But I warn you the series are addicting.. and he's still writing them.. any suggestions would be great....
It is not how we fall that defines us..
    It is how we rise.

I guess you have read the Stieg Larsson triology. If not, they are good.

Into Thin Air by John Krakauer
So there we were, Two against ten thousand.

          Kristin Lavransdatter: The Cross

          Lisa See

          Peony in Love
          Shanghai Girls

          Ken Follett

          Women of the Silk

          Patrick O'Brian

Pretty much all of Jodi Picoult's, Amy Tan's, John Irving's, Tony Hillerman's, Pat Conroy's, and John Grisham's books.

Excellent list KLD. I have read all of Linda Greenlaw's and both of the books by Krakauer and a few of the others.
I like non fiction best, but one of my all time favorite is "A Prayer for Owen Meany."

I'm checking out some of the ones on your list.

The Ken Follett books are awesome.

I would also recommend Wilbur Smith
