Welcome to CareCure! Please familiarize yourself with the following rules and guidelines for contributing to our vBulletin forum. Violations of these guidelines will result in warnings from the Moderation team, with repeated warnings resulting in posting privileges being suspended, for a time period, up to, and including, permanently.
1. NO COMMERCE
We are a non-commercial website. We do not accept adverts, or other promotional content, and we do not allow members to include links to commercial ventures in which they have a financial interest in either their posts, signatures, or user profiles.
There are 2 exceptions to Rule #1: Members are allowed to offer personal items for sale in our Equipment & Services forum, and product representatives are allowed to post promotional material in our Manufacturers & Vendors forum.
2. RESPECT COPYRIGHT
Do not post copyrighted material in its entirety. When posting content from a copyrighted source: only include an excerpt of the material, include both a citation providing credit to the source material to its copyright holder and a URL link to the source. (The vast majority of content found on the internet is copyrighted. This rule includes copy/paste from other websites.)
3. RESPECT EACH OTHER
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, intolerant, or threatening (violent) language towards others. This includes individual CareCure members as well as groups and persons within society as a whole. Threats of violence toward anyone (but particularly members and/or political figures) will be cause for immediate account ban.
DO NOT author posts, or responses, that include ad hominem (personal) attacks against individuals. All posts, or responses, are expected to be about the content of the Topic, or post, NOT opinions or observations about the person who authored the content.
(e.g. If you believe someone posted something "stupid", it is not allowed to respond by calling that person "stupid". If you have something critical to post, be sure it is a comment about the CONTENT not the AUTHOR.)
4. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
There are doctors, nurses, therapists, and mental health professionals with years of experience who regularly contribute and respond here. Do not consider those posts to be a diagnosis or medical advice that is specific to you and your circumstances. Always consult with your own medical advisors and doctors before embarking on any treatment or activity you read about on the internet.
Members are not permitted to discuss "homemade" pharmaceuticals or remedies or "how to" counterfeit specific medicines.
5. TAKE A TOUR & INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
Click HERE for our homepage. You will find a list of our most popular forums on the left side. Take a moment to peruse the forum titles and sticky posts within them. They include some more specific information about the forums they appear in, and the types of content expected to be found there. For quick access to the latest content, New Posts and Recent Posts links can be found in the Navigation Bar below the site logo.
Please start a Topic in the LIFE forum titled 'New User Introduction' and tell us a bit about yourself. Also, please fill out the fields in your user profile. Our staff and members use that information to better understand how to respond to any specific needs or questions you may have.
The SEARCH box in the upper right corner of the homepage provides access to over 20 years of content related to caring for and curing SCI. Use it liberally! Many questions have been addressed time and again, but feel free to start new topics as well. Modalities and treatments for SCI are constantly evolving, and new topics often bring a lot of that to the surface, even if they've been discussed before.

After clicking the pencil icon, you will be taken to the Section Edit page. Here's what you will see:
